Project overview: The UX Research team operates as a cross-functional capability, partnering with multiple product and delivery squads to ensure decisions are grounded in deep user understanding and strong evidence. Using Design Thinking principles and a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods, the team guides strategy, reduces uncertainty, and maximizes user and business value.

Position overview: We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher with strong experience leading end-to-end research initiatives in complex digital environments. This role goes beyond execution: it requires strategic thinking, autonomy, and the ability to influence product and business decisions through research insights. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers, acting as a trusted research partner and helping teams frame the right problems before designing solutions.

  • Responsibilities: Define and lead research strategies aligned with product goals, business priorities, and delivery timelines.
  • Plan and execute complex qualitative and quantitative research initiatives across multiple product phases.
  • Select and justify appropriate research methods based on problem type, risk, and product maturity.
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and clear recommendations for decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, opportunity maps, and other strategic artifacts.
  • Present research findings to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to support problem discovery, prioritization, and solution validation.
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to raising research standards and best practices.
  • Define and improve research processes, documentation, and knowledge repositories.

  • Advocate for user-centered thinking and evidence-based decisions across teams.

  • Requirements: Degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Design, Psychology, Journalism, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in UX Research roles, leading both qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Proven experience influencing product or business decisions through research.
  • Strong expertise in user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and mixed-method research.
  • Experience with UX research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail).
  • Excellent synthesis, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence in cross-functional, Agile environments.

  • Fluency in Spanish.

  • Nice to have: Proficiency in English and/or Portuguese.

  • Experience in large-scale digital products, platforms, or service design.
  • Familiarity with analytics data to complement qualitative insights.
