What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating activities related to the movement of goods and materials within the organization or between locations

• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products

• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, material handling, and shipping and receiving processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement necessary changes

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of logistics operations and identify areas for improvement

• Manage relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers to optimize service levels and pricing

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as safety and environmental requirements

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting logistics operations and adapt strategies accordingly

Who you are

• You have bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• You have minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a managerial role both in Mexico and Central / South America

• You have strong knowledge of transportation and warehousing operations, including import, export, national LTL and direct within Mexico, and maquila operation

• You have proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques for monitoring KPIs and identifying process improvements

• You have excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team

• You have strong experience working with carriers and third-party logistics providers.

• You have solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards affecting logistics operations in Mexico and international

• You have ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across departments and with external partners

• You have adaptability and problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges and disruptions in logistics operations
