The Editor plays a pivotal role in the video production process and is responsible for the execution and editing of video projects. Projects include assembly videos, sales training videos, promotional videos, design videos, live events, webinars, and brand commercials. This position requires strong video editing skills.

You'll Support Meaningful Work By:

Project Ownership:

• Support the production of small to medium sized video productions independently and take ownership of designated video projects, from pre-production to post-production.
• Coordinate with creative leadership to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Mentoring and Team Development:

• Ability to receive feedback and implement accordingly
• Working with the creative team, apply direction and guidance to achieve team goals.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Work together with the producers and directors to execute creative vision.
• Edit raw footage into final content.
• Input dialog, music, graphics, and animation into edits.
• Manage and organize media to the best-practice standards of the Video Team

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously discover and implement new technology, software, and industry trends to better the work.

Creative Development and Storytelling:

• Collaboration with creative leadership and the rest of the Creative team.
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity of story.
• Create SRT files for subtitles and captions.
• Experience in post color and sound.
• Manage creative music selection for projects.
• Mix and sweeten audio
• Create and edit motion graphics in Adobe After Effects.
• Edit video with Davinci Resolve.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to navigate and use online platforms, specifically and Adobe Workfront.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in video editing with at least 1 year of professional work.
• Experience in using Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Creative Cloud (required).
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing ability.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under accelerated timelines.
• Capability to take creative direction and execute the overall vision.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of Canon, Blackmagic, and Sony cameras and lenses.
