What's the role?

Our Revenue Accounting team is seeking a Zuora Accounting Analyst to support the accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement of our Quote-to-Bill and revenue processes. This role is a key contributor to our international accounting operations and works closely with cross-functional partners across Chicago, León, and Eindhoven.

You will play a critical part in managing the end-to-end Zuora Billing ecosystem, resolving integration issues, improving processes, and ensuring compliant and timely revenue accounting for the North America region.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the Quote-to-Bill architecture (Salesforce → Zuora Billing → PeopleSoft), ensuring accurate billing and revenue recognition.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, billing, and integration errors, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes and data flow.

  • Participate in Zuora Billing change management, releases, and system enhancements; maintain up-to-date knowledge of functionality and integrations.

  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, G/L reconciliations, documentation, and audit requests in compliance with IFRS.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items and respond to internal customer inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.

  • Contribute to additional Zuora and revenue accounting projects as assigned by management.

IMPORTANT:

  • This position follows a hybrid working arrangement, three days on-site in our LEON- MEXICO office and two days remote (work from home).

  • Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance or similar field.
  • 5 years of working experience or less.
  • Zuora system and billing experience Preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Quote to Cash processes and controls.
  • Strong communication/organization skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information.
  • CPA license or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong English language communication skills (oral and written).
