Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Test Engineering located in in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco. The Test Engineering Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies, creating and maintaining test cases, ensuring quality assurance, and conducting various testing procedures. The role also involves close collaboration with production and quality teams to ensure products meet rigorous standards and performance benchmarks.

- Experiencia en ingeniería de pruebas, incluyendo la implementación y optimización de procesos y herramientas de prueba.
- Conocimientos en ejecución de pruebas y manejo de casos de prueba, asegurando el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad.
- Dominio en pruebas funcionales y otras metodologías de testing, con capacidad para identificar y resolver problemas técnicos de manera eficiente.
- Aptitudes adicionales deseables incluyen habilidades de análisis, atención al detalle y capacidad para trabajar en equipos multidisciplinarios.
- Evaluates and interprets test data and prepares technical report and implement action to improve the KPIs (Yield, Down Time, False Rejects, Decrease percentage of Scrap).
- Maintain the testing equipment in optimal operating condition, implementing a spare parts control system, equipment calibration system, and golden unit system.
- Fix issues and improve the efficiency of existing production processes keeping the test station in good conditions and the best performance.
- Manage process safety information and create "Management of Change" documents.
- Support on-site operations personnel to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Responsible for the continuous improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency using Lean six sigma tool.
- Strengthen the preventive maintenance system and check that it is being carried out correctly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Electronics or related.
- Advanced English Level
- American visa
- Strong experience and Knowledge using functional test and integration.
- Proficiency in Test Engineering and development of Test Strategies
- Desirable Knowledge of programming languages. (LabVIEW, TestStand).
- Experience in Quality Assurance and ensuring product compliance with defined standards
- Capability to create, maintain, and execute Test Cases effectively
- Strong skills in performing diverse Testing processes and methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Proven experience developing and installing ICT, FVT, BURNING and HIPOT
