Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our general accounting team at the AGS plant in Aguascalientes. This is a full-time, in-office position that offers workplace flexibility. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation, advanced technical skills, a passion for continuous learning, and a high sense of ownership.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and post journal entries in a timely and accurate manner (day-to-day operations).

· Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for general ledger accounts.

· Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis as needed by management or other stakeholders.

· Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and responding to auditor requests.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with the Finance, Tax, and Internal audit teams to ensure compliance and alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

· Identify process improvement opportunities and take initiative for implementation.

· Maintain meticulous records and ensure all accounting activities adhere to company standards and deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Skills (non-negotiable)

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting

· Minimum 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, etc.).

· Experience with SAP, BlackLine, and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) is highly desirable.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

· Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate ownership, and take accountability for results.

· Fluency in Business Spanish (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in English is a plus.

· Experience working with Big 4 CPA firms is a strong plus.

· Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
