About the role

SM-SCP is responsible for leading the Logistic department covering the 2 plants in Reynosa as well as participating in the leadership team for the same

The SM-SCP is responsible for the purchases of internal and external raw materials, equipment, all the indirect purchasing, shipment, stock-keeping, planning, and operation of these areas, according to the established plan to ensure optimum utilization of resources in these operations and create the necessary communications within Infusion Device in DK and all departments in Mexico according to established targets and policies.

Key duties and responsibilities

The SM-SCP is responsible of the day to day management and operation of the mentioned function areas.

Control any changes concerning with customs regulations.

Follow, develop and acting according to Quality Assurance System

Assure traceability from receiving of raw materials/ goods to stock / deliveries to production, from production to sterilization, on finished goods stock and to the customer.

Follow all general procedures, business plans, strategies and polices in UMD-MX

Coordinate PO's and deliveries of components from Infusion Device in DK and other suppliers in coordination with the Logistic Department in DK in quality and quantity for production needs according with established plans and forecast from the Sale Department.

SM-SCP is responsible for the approval of suppliers of indirect materials and or services, negotiations and contract agreements in support to all department requirements of indirect and or services.

Hire and dismiss employees of Logistic Department according to Company Personnel Policies.

SM-SCP is responsible to keep in good working conditions the computer system used as part of his / her responsibilities.

SM-SCP is responsible for organization of the warehouse, including product preservation, housekeeping, pest control program, FIFO procedure and conditions of handling equipment.

Responsible to prepare weekly production plans and inventory reports. Responsible to prepare and present a monthly capacity plans and proposals for changes.

Present and update monthly shipment schedules.

Follow budget approved by the Business Units.

Skills & Experience

Profesional studies

10 + years of experience on the Planning and Materials Management in a similar level.

Fluent English spoken and written is a requirement

Experience on MRP System.

Strong leadership skills and experience in change management

Software utilization knowledge.

Interpretation Course in the ISO 14001:2015 standard, Induction in Legal Requirements in Environmental Matters, Training in the documents of the Environmental System, Attention and Response to Disasters, Operational Controls that correspond to them, Determination of Significant Environmental Aspects and Impacts that correspond to them, EHS Policy and Environmental Objectives.

Qualifications & education

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
