We are looking for a proactive engineer with the knowledge and skills to develop machine learning models for prediction, alerts, and reporting. In this role, you will combine your expertise in computer vision with predictive modeling to solve a real operational problem. This is an ideal opportunity for engineers who want to build end to end AI systems. from data and image capture in real world environments to deploying models that generate tangible operational impact.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Design and develop a computer vision system capable of estimating size and other key indicators from images, using computer vision algorithms and deep learning techniques.

  • Integrate the outputs of the vision system (estimated size data) with predictive models and production optimization modules within the operational platform.

  • Participate in the collection, labeling, and analysis of large image datasets; implement data augmentation and data cleaning techniques to improve the robustness and accuracy of trained models.

EXPECTED TECHNICAL STACK

  • Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas) and computer vision libraries such as OpenCV for image processing.

  • Proven experience training convolutional neural networks (CNNs) using PyTorch or TensorFlow for classification and object detection tasks.

  • Experience exposing models through REST APIs and optimizing them for low-power devices (e.g., TensorFlow Lite or similar optimizations) to run on edge devices such as mobile devices, Raspberry Pi, or NVIDIA Jetson.

  • Familiarity with camera calibration techniques (lens correction, real-world measurement calibration) and handling image capture hardware in field environments.

  • Experience taking projects from prototype to production, especially in industrial or applied research contexts, will be highly valued.

  • Ai knowledge also will be a plus.
