YOUR ROLE

The System Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper elicitation and test coverage of system requirements and KPIs for automotive ECUs. This role ensures the quality and completeness of system-level testing, including the definition, execution, and reporting of tests in alignment with the vehicle test strategy. The System Test Engineer reports to the System Test Lead and works closely with cross‑functional teams and OEM partners.

YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or a bachelor's degree in finance.
  • 4-5 years of experience as a System Test Engineer or similar roles.
  • Experience in system-level testing for automotive ECUs.
  • Strong understanding of system and stakeholder requirements analysis.
  •  Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test specifications.
  • Knowledge of DVP&R, Test coverage and requirements traceability and Vehicle-level test strategies.
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols like CAN and Ethernet.
  • Proficiency with testing and analysis tools such as Wireshark and CANalyzer (or equivalent tools).
  • Defect tracking, reporting, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with automotive test environments (HIL/SIL/VIL is a plus).
  • Proficient English (reading, writing, and technical communication).
  • Please note this is a hybrid position in Querétaro.
