Summary

Manage accounting functions that include financial information, financial operations, development, and administration of internal controls.

Responsibilities and Activities

Finance:

  • Support in developing and structuring tools for managerial accounting
  • Coordinate at different levels budget controls
  • Budget dashboards Actual vs Plan vs Fcst by department
  • Strong support and feedback on all levels in budgeting issues
  • Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and liabilities to predict future revenues and expenses.

Accounting:

  • Coordinate close month process in timely manner (check list)
  • Coordinate and delivery reconciliations, accurate and timely.
  • Interco reconciliations
  • US-Mex GAAP, strong knowledge in IMMEX
  • Strong accounting criteria and analysis
  • Support physical inventory counting and valuation of inventories.

Internal / External Audit:

  • Establish and maintain accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives for the entity.
  • Internal and External Audit support
  • Support on testing and evidence for the company's Monthly, Quarterly and Annual audit by auditors (Local and US).
  • Statutory Financial Statements support

Taxes:

  • Income tax calculations
  • VAT (collections, calculation, etc)
  • Tax paper works reconciliations (payments vs books vs CFDI's, etc)
  • Payroll and Taxes accruals

Other:

  • Aligning with the organization's goals and values.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating with other departments to improve overall performance and service levels.
  • Perform other tasks deemed appropriate.
  • Support the organization's efforts towards continuous improvement.
  • Identify, control, and minimize significant environmental aspects related to your work area.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and climate change policies.
  • Implement good environmental practices.
  • Promote environmental culture.

Education / Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Strong Knowledge of financial statements.
    ** ERP equivalent to SAP, AS400, Compaq, IQMS, One stream, Hyperion,***

Verbal Skills

  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
