The QA Lead for Data will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our enterprise data assets. This role will define and implement comprehensive data quality assurance strategies across various data sources, transformations, and consumption points, supporting critical business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end data quality assurance strategies, including data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test cases for data ingestion pipelines (ETL/ELT), data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and reporting dashboards.
  • Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and business intelligence teams to understand data models and data flows.
  • Implement automated data validation routines and define data quality metrics and reporting mechanisms.
  • Identify, track, and manage data defects, working with data engineering teams for timely resolution.
  • Ensure data compliance with regulatory requirements and internal data governance policies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in data quality assurance or data testing roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Experience with various database technologies (e.g., relational, NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and processes (e.g., DataFactory, Talend, Informatica, SSIS).
  • Understanding of data governance principles and data quality best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
