The Opportunity
As a Software Engineer, you'll be part of a global team enabling Global Manufacturing & Supply, Digital Innovation, and AI-driven initiatives. This is a hands-on role focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications using modern front-end technologies.
You'll work with frameworks such as React, Angular, and , contribute to UI architecture design, implement robust testing practices, and ensure seamless integration through CI/CD. Your work will directly support the creation of impactful digital solutions used across Takeda worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React, Angular, and
Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces aligned with best UX/UI practices.
Integrate front-end components with backend services using RESTful APIs and modern web standards.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and E2E testing frameworks.
Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery of front-end applications.
Apply web security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance across platforms.
Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend teams to refine features and deliver seamless user experiences.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure applications run smoothly across browsers and devices.
What We're Looking For
4+ years of experience in front-end software development.
Strong expertise in React, Angular, and .
Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
Solid understanding of unit testing, E2E testing, and test automation practices.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
Knowledge of web security principles and secure coding best practices.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Nice to Have
Experience with and/or TypeScript is valued
