About The Role
At Aplazo, we're building financial experiences that are clear, intuitive, and trustworthy. As a Senior Product Designer, you will own end-to-end design for key initiatives, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to deliver intuitive and impactful user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of flows, interfaces, and interactions across Aplazo's consumer and merchant products.
- Translate insights from Research and Product into clear, actionable design solutions.
- Deliver high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs aligned with Aplazo's design system.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define problems, scope solutions, and ship with excellence.
- Partner closely with the Research team to integrate insights into design decisions.
- Contribute to design reviews and provide feedback that raises the bar for the team.
- Advocate for user-centered design while balancing business needs and technical constraints.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of product design experience in consumer-facing digital products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, visual design, and end-to-end product thinking.
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma) and prototyping.
- Experience collaborating with researchers, PMs, and engineers.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to align stakeholders around design decisions.
- Familiarity with design systems and accessibility best practices.
- Fast-paced environment experience, like Startups.
- You are proficient in written and spoken English
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech.
- Exposure to experimentation (A/B tests) and data-informed design.
