About the role

As a Record to Report Senior Associate, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies. Your work will directly support Carrier's mission to maintain strong financial controls and transparency, impacting both internal stakeholders and external partners. This position reports to the RTR hub leadership and involves collaboration across teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As a Record to Report Senior Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual Record to Report (RTR) activities.
  • Executing controls and supporting internal and external audit activities.
  • Managing balance sheet reconciliations and other standard RTR processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and control processes.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external business partners.
  • Delivering accurate and timely financial results, including month-end closing and compliance activities.
  • Confirming alignment with US GAAP reporting requirements and corporate policies.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet corporate deadlines.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and internal control processes.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience with SOX compliance activities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Exposure to multinational corporate environments.
