ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB?

As a Collections Account Specialist, you will play a vital role in overseeing the collection of payments from our residents. Your responsibilities will include managing resident payment accounts, engaging proactively with residents to provide support, and ensuring that accounts are maintained in a Payment Current status.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing utility accounts for our properties, coordinating service activations and terminations, and ensuring compliance with local utility regulations. This position calls for strong organizational and communication skills to streamline utility operations and assist property owners and tenants with utility-related matters.

If you can do this and meet the following requirements, you might be a perfect fit

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to learn company-specific, proprietary software applications
  • Ability to work and communicate with people in varying disciplines with different backgrounds
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

Preferred:

  • College degree
  • Experience as a collection specialist or similar role with experience in account collections or property management services
  • Experience with PropertyWare
