This role will work hybrid (3 days per week) out of our Mexico City office.
Responsibilities

• Full-stack design and develop features for cross-browser web extension, including HTML/CSS/Typescript UI and REST-based communication with back-end microservices
• Using Scrum processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, UX, Dev) to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices (linting, testing, documentation).
• Investigate, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production and development.
• Drive performance and optimization improvements across applications.
• Guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, mentoring, and pair programming.
• Contribute to technical documentation for internal knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and bring in improvements to the team's stack and workflow.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to our core technologies.

Skills and Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency with React and its ecosystem (React Query, Hooks, Context, etc).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Typescript.
• Deep understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design, accessibility (such as ARIA), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience building and maintaining browser extensions (e.g., Chrome, Firefox) — strong plus.
• Familiarity with REST back-end integration. Familiarity with common software best practices such as design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with C#/.NET — plus, but not required. Strong understanding of modern build tools and workflows (Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm/yarn, CI/CD pipelines).
• Testing expertise (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing). Version control proficiency.
• Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Comfort working autonomously with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a globally-distributed team.
• Passionate about writing quality code and constantly honing your development skills.
• Ability to quickly read and understand both new and existing code. Familiarity with web-based security principles and best practices

Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps pipelines is a plus

Experience with YAML is a plus
