Associate Manager, Security

A
Security Manager
oversees the implementation and management of an organization's security strategy. You will ensure the protection of personnel, property, and assets from multiple physical threats while coordinating security teams and projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement physical security policies, strategies, and procedures to safeguard facilities and personnel.
• Lead a team of security personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to enhance security posture.
• Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
• Manage emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring staff are trained and prepared for multiple security scenarios.
• Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure compliance with security regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor security operations and incident response, analyzing reports and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Manage security budgets, resources, and contracts with external vendors or security service providers.
• Stay informed about new security threats, trends, and technologies to improve security measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is typically required; a master's degree may be beneficial.
• At least 5 years of experience in physical security or a related field, often requiring several years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP)) enhance qualifications and career prospects. (not mandatory)
• Avanced level of english
