Senior System Administrator

CloudSigma is a fast-growing company offering public cloud services (IaaS, CaaS and PaaS) to customers around the globe. CloudSigma as a leading provider of cloud solutions is looking to build on its early success to capture a significant part of this future market growth.

Currently, we have an open position for a Senior System Administrator with experience in the area of system and network administration, databases, application deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

  • Deployment, administration, and maintenance of Linux and Unix based physical and virtual servers in more than 15 worldwide locations
  • Managing the network infrastructure - enterprise switches (Dell, HPE, Mellanox), BSDRP routers, Bind name servers, DHCP servers, etc.
  • Performance, stability, and security optimizations
  • Monitoring and incident management
  • Support of the internal office infrastructure, test and production systems

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Senior Level experience with Linux and Unix based server environments
  • Deep understanding of networking 
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMWARE)
  • Experience with Docker virtual containers
  • Experience with databases (PSQL, MongoDB, MySQL) - administration, replication, clusterization
  • Experience with enterprise switches, network protocols, DNS, name servers, routers (BSDRP), and routing software suites (BIRD, QUAGGA)
  • Experience with automation (Puppet) , 
  • Fluent in the English Language, both written and verbal

Experience with any of the following would be considered an advantage - FreeBSD, Bind, Vyatta/VyOS, Chef, Ansible, Kickstart, ZFS, OpenStack
