The Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for our brand and marketing creative. From building brand awareness campaigns to designing experiences like Dreamforce, our multifaceted team does it all. We are a collection of creative visionaries,craftspeople, storytellers, strategists, producers, and more, whose sole purpose is to bring the brand to life across our incredible portfolio of work.

As a global, internal creative agency, we have been building a scalable content production studio of our dreams - where production design can be centralized, ad hoc creative projects can be delivered, and our tools and systems operationalized. The foundation of this team is to allow our incredibly talented creative thinkers to focus on what they do best, while ensuring that the work is delivered on time and on brand, with a focus on scalability and cost efficiency.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Production Designer, you will be responsible for working closely with the Studio Manager and the project manager to intake project requests as they come in from HQ in Slack Lists. You will be a hands-on, pixel perfect craftsman, able to take an approved concept and confidently build it out in various sizes and media with a strong aesthetic POV, building those files to final production specifications. Types of work coming through will be print mechanical production for our global events, digital design and production for demand gen campaigns including emails, banners, social, presentation design, infographic design, photoshop compositing.

This is generally not a design-focused role, you will be spending most of your time building and making, taking existing concepts and creating them for final production based on where they are being delivered. That said you will have some design opportunities come your way and need to build with a strong design aesthetic.

Please have a portfolio that shows the work you've been directly involved in and what your role was in those projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with project managers and project requestors to understand the project scope and proactively ask pertinent questions when needed. 

  • Expertise building print mechanicals using Adobe Indesign and Illustrator, preparing all files for the printer following CMYK specifications and printer specifications. Experience with mechanical tools such as Triple Triangle a plus.

  • Deliver pixel-perfect, production-ready files for events and digital demand gen, across a range of media formats.

  • Ability to take existing concepts and lay them out in various formats with a strong visual aesthetic.

  • Expert understanding of Salesforce guidelines.

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects at one time.

  • Highly proactive, communicative, and focused on delivering on deadlines. 

  • Ensure all final assets are properly prepared and uploaded to the internal DAM.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive experience in design, production or related field. 

  • Experience working in digital design and production at an internal marketing organization or advertising agency environment.

  • Deep understanding of creative production processes across digital & print formats.

  • Emphasis that print experience is essential. This role will be working on much of our events and global signage. 

  • Experience managing internal client relationships and agencies 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English. 

  • 8 years of industry or related creative experience. 

  • Expert knowledge of creative software tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and Canva.

Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, volunteer work, etc.).
