Hourly Wage:
$27-30 USD per hour
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3-5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying cloud native solutions
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS or other containerization technologies
- Programming experience with Python, Java, or Go (automation, tooling, integrations)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL, etc.)
- Understanding of distributed system design
Description
An employer is seeking a Platform Engineer with strong analytical and technical skills to implement complex gateway and service mesh solutions across multi-region, multi-cluster environments. You will design, implement, and optimize complex systems for real-time experimentation, controlled deployments, and performance optimization across a large-scale platform. Evolving the technology to support Platform API Gateway requires continuous iteration and close collaboration with our engineering and business partners. You will work alongside software engineers, product teams, and site reliability engineers (SRE) to ensure smooth integration and scalability across microservices and front-end components.
