Coordinator, Digital Ad Insertion

The Digital Insertion Coordinator is responsible for the accurate execution, monitoring, and control of digital advertising campaigns across video and display platforms, ensuring insertion orders are implemented correctly and aligned with commercial and technical requirements. This role is critical to campaign delivery, KPI fulfillment, and coordination between Sales, Ad Operations, and Technology teams.
Reports to: Sr Director for Business Strategy and Ops
RESPONSIBILITIES
Insertion Order (IO) Management
Create, validate, and manage digital insertion orders.
- Review commercial and technical specifications.
- Ensure campaigns are implemented as sold.
Track changes and campaign adjustments.
Campaign Execution & Monitoring
Monitor daily delivery of digital campaigns.
- Identify pacing or delivery issues.
- Coordinate basic optimizations.
Escalate operational or technical issues.
Coordination with Ad Operations & Technology
Support proper campaign setup in ad servers.
- Validate creatives, tags, and trackers.
- Ensure correct platform integrations.
Assist in resolving delivery errors.
Reporting & Campaign Close
Track key metrics (impressions, fill rate, pacing).
- Produce internal operational reports.
- Support campaign reconciliation and close.
Maintain organized campaign documentation.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve workflows.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and SLAs.
- Support standardization of operational flows.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years of experience in digital insertion, Ad Ops, or trafficking roles.
- Knowledge of digital advertising (display, video, CTV, OTT).
- Experience with ad servers (Google Ad Manager preferred).
- Understanding of insertion orders and pacing.
- Intermediate Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Knowledge of digital performance metrics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organization and follow-up skills.
- Clear communication.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset.
