Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Guaymas, SON, for a Commodity Manager. The Commodity Manager will oversee sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier performance, analyzing market trends, and developing purchasing strategies to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards. The role demands strategic thinking and collaboration with internal teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Management, with the ability to assess and maintain supplier reliability, quality, and efficiency
  • Proven experience in Contract Negotiation and Purchasing, including drafting agreements and managing procurement processes
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate costs, assess risks, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Solid understanding of supply chain management and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in commodity management or procurement roles, particularly in manufacturing or industrial settings
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems
  • Fluency in English.
