Key Responsibilities
- Develop control algorithms using
MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow - Perform
Model-Based Design (MBD)
for automotive embedded systems - Generate production-quality embedded code using
auto-code generation tools
(Embedded Coder) - Integrate generated code on automotive
ECUs / microcontrollers - Perform
MIL, SIL, and HIL testing
for model and software validation - Optimize models and generated code for
performance, memory, and real-time constraints - Collaborate with system, test, and hardware teams for end-to-end software development
- Debug and resolve software and model-related issues
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including
design specs, test cases, and reports - Ensure compliance with
ASPICE, ISO 26262
, and OEM development processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, or Computer Engineering - 2–8+ years of experience in
embedded software development using MBD - Strong hands-on experience with
MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow - Experience with
auto-code generation (Embedded Coder) - Knowledge of
C / Embedded C - Understanding of
automotive control systems - Experience with
MIL / SIL / HIL
workflows - Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (
CAN, LIN, FlexRay
)
