About the role:

The Closing Disclosure Analyst / Loan Analyst will be responsible for understanding the requirements and preparation of the Loan Closing Disclosure in accordance with standards and federal, state and investor requirements. This role requires the ability to work in very tight deadlines daily, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quick turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review previous disclosures sent to the borrower to ensure borrower(s) have received/accepted
• Review state specific disclosures to ensure the borrower has received/accepted per the state requirement when applicable.
• Review and apply the minimum requirements to prepare the Closing Disclosure for all loan types to ensure proper accurate initial figures to the borrowers.
• Prepare Initial and COC Closing disclosures, make necessary changes; delivery to Loan Originators and borrowers while keep aligned with the TRID 3 day waiting period.
• Work with underwriters, loan processors, closers, and loan originators when corrections are needed.
• Reply to questions from Underwriting, Processing, Closing, and Loan Originators regarding specific loans or closing disclosure procedures and escalate any issues to management.

Requirements:

• Experience in mortgage processing, closing, or compliance (2+ years preferred). is a plis
• Familiarity with loan origination systems (Encompass, Calyx, or similar).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files and meet strict deadlines
• Bachelor's degree
