Position Summary: Manage flow and process in assigned work centers; coaching work center team on Continuous improvement and embracing change. Functional Contribution (Contribution Matrix):

• Technical troubleshooting of process, equipment, and product.
• Contribute in problem solving activities.

• Identifies ways to reduce waste and improve business processes
• Transfers knowledge from one situation to the next
• Demonstrate knowledge with Microsoft Office and other computer systems

• Uses the Watlow Business System (WBS) to achieve results
• Demonstrating the Watlow Way (WW) Leader Behaviors Skills, Abilities and Mastery (Responsibility Matrix): Delivery:
• Build product to design using work instructions/standards.
• Ensure the deployment of a safe and healthy work environment for all work team members.
• Coordinate and meet manufacturing order (MO) delivery requirements with quality product
• Initiate/Update daily production plan to achieve Takt, include daily resource plan
• Coach and mentor cell team members
• Share in the responsibility of team member development
• Lead Gemba walk and follow up on actions regarding Cell Improvement, Standard Work & Problem Solving Centers (PSCs)
• Follow Andon process
• May update time and attendance / weekly
• Provide on the job training
• Assure team follows standard work
• Verify daily 6S is followed
• Communicate with Team Leader any problems, team issues, etc.
• Follow Standard Operating Process (SOP) Lead Operator
• Responsible for training in the Work Cell and ensuring proper training records are retained.
Business Partner:
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure inventory accuracy Center of Expertise (COE)
• Bronze Certification
• Lead Operator Roadmap Education, Experience and Certification Requirements:
• High-school graduate/GED
• Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years)
