Java Technical Lead
Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for to oversee the development, testing and implementation of the overall solutions for the business that leverage our technology. Providing subject expertise and guidance alongside the engineering function on Java, SpringBoot, Cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure), SQL and Jira.
Main Activities:
- This role will carry out some or all the following activities:
- Ensure that technical deliverables meet established quality standards and requirements.
- Responsible for providing functional expertise for issue resolution.
- Responsible for management of front to back functional flows.
- Expert knowledge of data extraction and analytical tools required for subject matter.
- Responsible for encouraging the culture of domain understanding within the team.
- Responsible for taking lead in requirement and testing drives.
- Responsible for helping product owner to define the acceptance criteria as per customer requirements.
- Responsible for taking lead in resolving production incidents from functional point of view.
- Responsible for stakeholder management and building an active, healthy relationship with the business.
- Responsible for mentoring and providing necessary subject matter expertise to the team when required.
- Responsible for assuring resilience and governing adherence to controls.
- Proactively taking lead for any application/functional fixes or wherever functional involvement would help them
- Responsible for knowledge transfer on subject matter expertise by writing nimble blogs and sharing best practices.
Qualifications - Internal
Qualifications Required:
Mandatory:
- Previous experience as Technical Leader Java Cloud
Strong skills in management and management of work teams in software development environments with the following technologies
Skills in effective communication, proactivity, leadership ( Work Team Management) and results-orientated.
- 4 years of experience in Java, Sprint boot, SQL DB and Cloud GCP.
- +5 years working with Jira, Clarity and Agile Framework
- Experience working in Teams along different time zones.
- English Advanced level speaking and writing.
- IT & Systems Engineering background
Lenguage Level:
- English level – Advanced Conversational +C1
