Position Title: Automation Engineer – Python

Location: Remote for México

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer specializing in Python to join our team. You will play an essential role in designing and implementing advanced automated testing solutions within a collaborative DevOps environment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks and suites for business-critical applications.
  • Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of features.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA team members in an agile setting.
  • Drive functional, integration, and regression testing across multiple environments.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; participate in code and strategy review sessions.
  • Apply best practices in test automation and contribute to quality standards for the organization.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced experience in Python (or Java) for automation and test scripting.
  • Hands-on expertise with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Demonstrable experience working with CI/CD tools, DevOps processes, and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Proficient in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Solid background in testing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.

  • Exposure to agile methodologies and participation in agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Self-driven, with a passion for delivering quality software products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5-8 years of experience in automation engineering or a related role.
  • Must complete a 45-minute assessment (minimum passing score: 50%).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65, $83,000.00 per month
