UCB is looking for a Risk to Value Specialist to assist the business operations in the implementation of recommendations to help ensure proper improvements in the effectiveness of operations and internal controls. Based In CDMX.
What you'll do:
- Assess process objectives, risks and controls.
- Ensure that the execution of duties by all employees is conducted in compliance with laws and ordinances and with the company's policies.
- Assist the business operations in the implementation of recommendations to help ensure proper improvements in the effectiveness of operations and internal controls.
- Identify business process improvements.
- Develop and follow-up corrective actions to mitigate assessed risks.
- Collaborate in compliance-related trainings.
- Collaborate with compliance-related publications, such as compliance newsletter, news, information and in general, all the written information created for the affiliate.
- Maintain updated the OzonO database, making sure that 100% of the interactions are properly documented.
- Generate a monthly report of the status of the Ozono database, identifying opportunity areas to be addressed.
Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills
- Bachelor degree: Public Accounting Bachelor, or Economics Degree
- English: Fluent (H-Reading Comprehension, H-conversation and H-written)
- 3 to 5 years working in Audit Firm (preferred) or 3 to 5 years working in Internal Audit /Internal Control
- Solid understanding of risk and control concepts. Ability to apply these concepts to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls to mitigate risk to tolerance levels defined by management
- Multinational background. (Pharma preferred)
- Knowledge of COSO Risk and Internal Control framework would be an asset.
