El equipo de desarrollo de tiendas es responsable de la planificación arquitectónica, el diseño de las tiendas y la construcción de todos los puntos de venta, incluidas las tiendas principales, las tiendas pop-up, los outlets y las innovadoras tiendas conceptuales de lululemon. RESUMEN DEL PUESTO

El gerente de proyectos de desarrollo de tiendas es un colaborador individual responsable de gestionar los proyectos de desarrollo de tiendas que se le asignen, desde el diseño hasta la construcción. Esta función garantiza que los proyectos se entreguen a tiempo, dentro del presupuesto y de acuerdo con los estándares de la marca y los requisitos operativos de lululemon. El gerente de proyectos colabora estrechamente con socios internos, incluidos los departamentos de bienes raíces, operaciones minoristas y operaciones de tiendas, y con proveedores externos para crear entornos minoristas de alta calidad.

RESPONSABILIDADES Y FUNCIONES PRINCIPALES

  • Gestionar los proyectos de desarrollo de tiendas asignados, desde la entrega del sitio hasta el diseño y la construcción.
  • Coordinarse con los equipos internos (Inmobiliario, Operaciones Minoristas, Operaciones de Tiendas) y los proveedores externos para garantizar una ejecución fluida.
  • Realizar un seguimiento de los calendarios, los presupuestos y los resultados de los proyectos; identificar y escalar los riesgos según sea necesario.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normas de la marca, los códigos de construcción y las regulaciones de salud y seguridad.
  • Preparar y mantener la documentación del proyecto, incluidos los informes de estado para la dirección.
  • Apoyar las mejoras de los procesos y la adopción de herramientas según las instrucciones del gerente.
  • Facilitar la comunicación oportuna entre todas las partes interesadas para mantener la coordinación y resolver los problemas rápidamente.

CUALIFICACIONES

  • Licenciatura en Arquitectura, Diseño de Interiores, Gestión de la Construcción o un campo relacionado.
  • De 3 a 5 años de experiencia en construcción minorista o gestión de proyectos.
  • Dominio de AutoCAD y Excel; se valorará el conocimiento de Smartsheet y las herramientas de Adobe.
  • Sólidos conocimientos de los códigos de construcción locales y las prácticas de construcción.
  • Excelentes habilidades organizativas y de comunicación; se prefiere bilingüe (español/inglés).
  • Capacidad para gestionar múltiples proyectos en un entorno dinámico.

ABOUT THIS TEAM

The Store Development team is responsible for the architectural layout planning, store design, and construction of all retail locations, including mainline stores, pop-up stores, outlets, and innovative concept stores for lululemon. We deliver on the company's strategic growth plans through highly efficient operating standards and the focus of sweat, grow, connect as manifested through the execution of the brand's pinnacle expression: the physical retail store. Through clarity, accuracy, and efficiency, we support business ambitions and enhance guest experience while delivering consistent design cues to create and reinforce a strong brand identity.

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager, Store Development is an individual contributor responsible for managing assigned store development projects from design through construction. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with lululemon's brand standards and operational requirements. The Project Manager collaborates closely with internal partners—including Real Estate, Retail Operations, and Store Operations—and external vendors to execute high-quality retail environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Manage assigned store development projects from site handoff through design and construction.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Real Estate, Retail Operations, Store Operations) and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables; identify and escalate risks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports for leadership.
  • Support process improvements and adoption of tools as directed by the Manager.
  • Facilitate timely communication among all stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve issues quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail construction or project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel; familiarity with Smartsheet and Adobe tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of local building codes and construction practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
