Position Summary
Provide technical leadership and be responsible for the implementation of automated systems for new and existing manufacturing processes. Focus on providing long-term support and guidance globally. Develop a comprehensive training and documentation program for all implemented projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement robust, scalable, and high-quality automation solutions.
  • Identify and specify required equipment and subsystems to improve on new and existing manufacturing process the equipment and subsystems necessary to improve new and existing processes.
  • Design specifications and detailed documentation for the design of automation systems and subsystems.
  • Design, quote and create equipment / accessories to help production processes (structure, process, wiring, sensors)
  • Modify current equipment / fixtures - accessories to update process requirements.
  • Assist with Kaizen activities and engineering projects.
  • Evaluate part drawings and sketches to understand product design and specifications in equipment development.
  • Provide training to all associates in the operations of new equipment.
  • Use the PDCA cycle when installing and debugging new equipment.
  • Ability to work with Keyence equipment's.
  • Negotiation with suppliers to buy equipment, machines or accessories.
  • Ability to effectively communicate status, actions, recommendations, and other technical information with clarity and precision. Responsive to inquiries from other engineering and business teams.
  • Available to travel to USA

Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineer, Mechanical, Automation or Electrical Engineer.

Experience:
More than 3 years of experience in automation or robotics implementations in a manufacturing environment.

English level
: Advanced English

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Office, desirable 3D software (Inventor preferred), robotic programming on any following (UR or similar)
  • Mechanical Design
  • 3D printer knowledge is a plus
