About Role:

We are seeking a skilled
Production & Material Controller
to support our growing manufacturing operations in
Tijuana, Mexico
. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring production plans align with customer demand, optimizing work orders, and coordinating material supply to achieve on-time delivery and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review customer demand and develop accurate production plans.
  • Create, review, and manage work orders, ensuring timely execution and efficiency.
  • Coordinate production lines, shifts, and schedules to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor material supply status and address shortages to minimize delays.
  • Support MES data maintenance and engineering changes in work orders.
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, quality, and SCM teams to achieve production targets.
  • Align with sales on capacity, materials, and resource planning.
  • Manage communication with logistics, import/export, overseas MC, and local buyer teams to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Identify and resolve production or material planning issues proactively.
  • Report major supply risks to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with
    5+ years of experience
    in production planning or material control in the
    electronics manufacturing sector
    .
  • Experience in
    Maquiladora operations
    is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in English (read, write, speak, listen) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Oracle/ERP system experience is preferred.
