Airswift is looking for a Senior Production Engineer to work on a permanent contract in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico, with a drilling services company.
Professional responsible for ensuring that hydrocarbon extraction is carried out efficiently, safely and profitably, in compliance with international standards and within established deadlines.
Professional with extensive offshore experience.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure that the design and optimization of the wells are constructed in a way that facilitates the efficient extraction of oil or gas, determining the selection of termination and artificial lifting methods (such as subsurface pumps, gas lift, or more advanced methods).
Monitor the production of wells in real time and ensure that it remains within the desired parameters, optimizing production rates to maximize the recovery of hydrocarbons and minimize operating costs.
Responsible for designing water, gas or chemical injection systems to maintain adequate pressure in wells, which allows guaranteeing pressure control in oil and gas reservoirs, allowing to maximize production and avoid problems such as water codification or formation collapse.
Supervise the operation of oil wells and make operational decisions to maintain production efficiently and safely.
Implement continuous monitoring systems to assess performance and detect potential operational problems.
Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment operational availability.
Analyze operational data to assess well performance and propose improvements in production efficiency.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for management and other stakeholders on project progress and results.
Actively contribute to ensuring that all activities are always focused on ensuring the company's safety and quality requirements.
Job Qualifications
University degree in Petroleum Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
Proficiency in reservoir engineering principles, including wellbore characterization, well productivity assessment, and artificial lift system design.
Professional with extensive offshore experience.
Expertise in fluid management, pressure control, and methods to maximize hydrocarbon recovery, as well as knowledge of drilling, well competition, and production technologies.
