Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Lead to join our team and drive the design, development, and governance of SAP technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across classic and modern ABAP technologies, strong experience collaborating with functional teams, and a solid understanding of clean-core principles essential for S/4HANA environments.
As an ABAP Lead, you will oversee development activities, guide junior developers, participate in solution design, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of proven experience in Classic ABAP (Dynpros, BAdIs, User Exits, Reports, Function Modules, Enhancements).
- 10+ years of experience in ABAP OO.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Workflow development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with RAP Framework.
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5.
- 3+ years working with CDS Views, CDS Entities, and ABAP Business Objects.
- 2+ years of experience using EML.
- 10+ years working with IDocs and RFC interfaces.
- 3+ years of experience creating OData services.
- Strong understanding of Clean Core and extensibility for S/4HANA.
- Demonstrated experience working with in-house ABAP governance and collaborating closely with functional teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementation projects.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, CAP, or cloud integration technologies.
- Previous experience leading distributed or offshore teams.
