Job Description

We are looking for a
Legal Affairs Manager

  • Legal Counsel:
    Provide comprehensive legal advice on corporate transactions, contracts, intellectual property, and compliance matters to senior leadership and business units.
  • Litigation Management:
    Oversee and manage high-profile litigation cases, including patent disputes, trade secret litigation, and regulatory investigations, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
  • Tax Strategy & Compliance:
    Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize financial performance while ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws. Manage tax audits and disputes with regulatory authorities.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    Develop and implement robust compliance programs to mitigate legal risks and ensure adherence to local and international laws and regulations.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    Lead the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial agreements, including licensing deals, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely among internal areas, such as Finance, Marketing, Commercial Divisions to address legal challenges and support business growth initiatives.
  • Talent Development:
    Mentor and lead a team of legal professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional development.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Legal degree or equivalent; Specialties on Business, Corporate and Government Relations is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate law, tax and litigation within a large multinational organization or law firm.
  • 3+ years of experience in Law firms
  • Proven track record of managing complex legal matters and delivering successful outcomes in high-stakes cases.
  • Proven experience and expertise in Tax subjects and Tax litigations as well.
