We are looking for a
Financial Controller for Mexico
who will play a key strategic role in safeguarding the financial integrity of our operations, ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and supporting the growth of the business. This role partners closely with local and global leadership and oversees financial reporting, internal controls, tax, treasury, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business growth by ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and alignment with both statutory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Ensure full compliance with
    US GAAP
    , local accounting standards, tax regulations, and the Delegation of Authority (DOA) matrix.
  • Lead the preparation, review, and timely submission of all tax filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Maintain and continuously strengthen the internal control environment; partner with internal and external auditors to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights on budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and performance trends to support strategic decisions.
  • Oversee local treasury operations, including cash flow planning, liquidity oversight, and cash management activities.
  • Drive consistency, efficiency, and optimization across financial processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure financial alignment, transparency, and operational excellence.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience
    in finance or accounting roles, ideally within multinational or matrix environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in
    Accounting, Finance
    , or a related field.
  • Fluency in
    Spanish and English
    (spoken and written).
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and deep understanding of financial compliance and control.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
  • Experience leading and developing teams; committed to fostering a high-performance and diverse work culture.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex situations with a positive, solutions-driven approach.
