Job Description

Reporting to our Post Producer, we've got an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Editor to join our Cannes Award-winning Creative Social team, working with one of our partners - a prestigious entertainment streamer.

The Assistant Editor plays a critical role in supporting the post-production team by preparing, organizing, and maintaining all media assets for editorial projects. Working closely with Post Producers, Editors, and Creative teams, the Assistant Editor ensures that files are properly ingested, prepped, and delivered on time for smooth workflows. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced advertising environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ingest, organize, and maintain all video, audio, and graphic assets for editorial projects.

• Prep project timelines and sequences according to Post Producer and Editor specifications.

• Perform initial media sync, string-outs, and versioning to assist Editors.

• Maintain consistent file structure, naming conventions, and project organization across all jobs.

• Conform offline edits for finishing, including prep for color grading, VFX, and sound mix.

• Export review cuts and deliverables in required formats and specs.

• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy, sync, and technical compliance.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag any concerns to the Post Producer.

• Archive projects and ensure media management practices are followed.

• Support the Post Producer in maintaining schedules, communicating file readiness, and ensuring all assets are delivered on time.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in post-production, preferably in an advertising or agency setting.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Avid Media Composer (knowledge of After Effects a plus).

• Familiarity with industry-standard file formats, codecs, and delivery specs.

• Strong organizational and file management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• High level of written and spoken English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with motion graphics and/or basic VFX workflows.

• Understanding of broadcast, digital, and social media deliverables.

• Knowledge of shared storage environments and media management software.
