Responsibilities

Supply chain team seeks enthusiastic students to join our Supplier Technical Assist (STA) team. As an STA champ, you will be involved in managing production suppliers across the region. 

This involves comprehensive management, including: 

  • Supplier Selection and Development: A rigorous process evaluating supplier production capacity, material quality, delivery reliability, and financial stability. We utilize analytical and evaluation tools reflected in key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance. 

  •  Performance Monitoring: Consistent tracking of part quality, on-time delivery, and material costs. This often involves on-site audits at supplier facilities. Up to 40% of time traveling to domestic suppliers locations. 

  • Supplier Development: Supporting suppliers in improving their processes and capabilities to increase efficiency and quality. This may include knowledge sharing and investment in new technologies. 

  • Support the development and execution of supply base and commodity strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives (cost, timing, quality). 

  • Conduct data analysis to inform business decisions and track price changes throughout program lifecycles. 

  • Support lead sourcing processes to secure best-in-class value, a diverse supplier base, and strong supplier relationships. 
     

Qualifications
  • Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Industrial, Automotive or any other related engineering.
  • 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills 
  • Strong time and data management skills. 
  • Analytical skills (data-driven and capable of analyzing multiple scenarios). 
  • Self-motivated/independent/resourceful. 
  • Willing to learn 
  • Genuine interest in supply chain / manufacturing process / problem solving.
