Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Layout Engineer based in Acuña, COA. The Layout Engineer will be responsible for creating and reviewing engineering drawings, developing and maintaining layouts for manufacturing processes, and ensuring designs meet technical specifications and quality standards. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing design requirements, and providing solutions to support production efficiency and product performance. Additional responsibilities may include utilizing CAD software and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering drawing creation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Understanding of aerospace or automotive industry standards is a plus
- Previous experience in a layout engineering role is advantageous
