Technical Writer – Heavy-Duty Trucks (Entry-Level Friendly)

Location: JANA ) – 100% On-Site

About the Role

Do you enjoy the automotive world, especially heavy-duty trucks?

Are you someone with strong English, curiosity, and a desire to keep learning?

At JANA, we create the service and operator manuals used by technicians and operators every day. We're looking for someone who may not have years of experience, but does have:

A genuine desire to learn

Good English skills (reading and writing)

Basic knowledge of automotive systems or trucks

We will train you—but you need to bring the motivation and technical curiosity.

What You'll Do

  • Help create and update service manuals and operator manuals for heavy-duty trucks.
  • Work directly with engineers and technical experts to gather accurate information.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, easy-to-follow instructions.
  • Review and edit documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Learn industry standards, writing processes, and automotive documentation practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Basic understanding of the automotive field (bonus if it's truck-related).
  • Strong English comprehension and writing skills.
  • Ability to understand how mechanical/technical systems work.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to ask questions and learn.
  • Experience using or understanding technical manuals is a plus, but not required.
  • A degree is welcome but not required—skill and interest matter more.
