Senior QA Automation

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior QA Automation to join our team located Mexico.

As a Sr. Quality Automation Engineer will assist in designing, developing, and executing automated scripts and manual test plans for the Client applications. Working in an Agile environment with developers, business analysts, product owners and business partners, this individual will be required to develop automated test scripts at the API and Database layers, along with end-to-end scenarios at the UI layer. The individual will be expected to write and execute manual test scenarios as well. As a member of an agile development team, this Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer will be participating in agile ceremonies assisting in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprints review and retrospectives. The Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer provides concise, quantitative analysis and will communicate results, issues and recommendations utilizing visualization techniques

• Create comprehensive test plans with well-defined, reusable test cases from acceptance criteria defined in scrum stories.
• Execute software testing to include functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test script libraries for functional integration and regression testing for assigned applications.
• Contribute to the client's automation framework capabilities
• Work with developers, analysts and other stakeholders to understand the requirements surrounding new or enhanced features to write test plan documents, test cases and test automation that adhere to the client standards.
• Collaborate with other automation engineers and/or the QA Architect as part of the automation design process.
• Perform peer reviews of testing artifacts and demonstrate to the technology team and business participants their test results, evidence and related analysis.
• Assist with the development, integration and coordination of cross-organization test projects.
• Follow the client's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring that all steps of the process have been followed prior to releasing any code.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, computer science, or technology related field.
• Successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in software testing in an AGILE environment.
• Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in the financial services industry and possesses solid knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives asset classes.
• Demonstrated strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of investment data, preferably Investment Compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Python and UI automation tool like Selenium, TestComplete and Silk4net.
• Experience with financial software testing is strongly preferred.
• Familiar with automation strategies in a micro service environment.
• Working knowledge of industry standard best practices as related to software testing.
• Ability to translate from business requirements to technical testing solutions.
• Strong ability to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources.
• Good communication skills with ability to work with other members in a scrum team
• Strong partnership and relationship building skills.
