Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Backend Engineer at Puul, located in Monterrey, NL, with flexibility for remote work. The Backend Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end architectures of our web applications and software. They will work with a team of developers and designers to create efficient and effective user experiences that meet the needs of our customers.
Qualifications
Candidates meet at least some (ideally all) of the following:
- Strong knowledge of Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Full-Stack Development
- Proficient in coding languages such as Typescript, Python, JavaScript, and HTML
- Experience with API design and development and web sockets
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, bitbucket
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Experience with GCP and mobil app development and analytics tools (Firebase)(Sentry)
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with Google maps API
- Knowledge and experience of algorithm construction and optimization
