Position objective:
Ensure the effective operation of the Sales service team by guiding team members to fulfill their responsibilities and achieve their objectives. The role also involves ensuring the department contributes proactively to the performance of the plants, particularly in relation to gross margin, by focusing activities on sales-related matters.
Key responsibilities:
- Capture, analyze, reconcile, and update sales data to provide reliable information to sales accounts, including alloy surcharges, customer data, orders, and pricing.
- Continuously improve administrative processes within the sales service and support the sales team in customer and order management.
- Manage orders, including documentation and order tracking.
- Responsible for invoicing, manual billing tools, and lump-sum payments.
- Support the sales department with the necessary information for annual sales price negotiations.
- Define and implement new processes relevant to sales services at the regional level, aligned with global requirements.
- Foster a respectful work environment, recruit, develop, and retain human resources to maintain a qualified, motivated, and productive workforce.
- Lead by example and uphold BENTELER's mission, values, and global leadership principles.
- Use standard HR tools, such as the evaluation process, to provide regular feedback and agree on tasks and objectives with respective employees.
- Provide support for activities assigned by the direct supervisor.
