Job Description

As a
QA Manual/Automation,
you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Design test cases and scenarios to cover all aspects of functional and non-functional requirements using Jira.
• Perform manual testing to validate the functionality and performance of software applications, APIs, databases and user interfaces.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that code changes and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
• Work closely with the product and development teams to address issues, clarify requirements, and drive defect resolution.
• Propose ideas and contribute towards the enhancement of QA methodologies, best practices, and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in manual and/or automated testing techniques.
• Ability to communicate with developers, product managers, and other cross functional members of a team.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Ability to develop functional, regression and user-focused test plans and strategies using product requirements and design documents.
• Experience with Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Proficiency in writing test scripts in Jira for both UI and RESTful API scenarios.
• Proficiency in performing ad hoc RESTful API testing using Postman and/or SoapUI.
• Intermediate understanding of HTML and CSS.
