1.    Role Summary:

The Quality Leader / Project Leader will lead VDA 6.3 readiness, oversee welding/fabrication quality, manage supplier quality, and drive APQP/PPAP for our different projects and customers.

Must ensure the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements, guaranteeing conformity with customer, legal, and regulatory standards, as well as the effectiveness of internal processes. Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization and contribute to achieving strategic business objectives.

Responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and align project goals with company objectives.

2.    Key Responsibilities

·      Lead full VDA 6.3 implementation and audit readiness (P2 – P7)

·      Develop and manage aluminum welding quality systems (TIG/MIG/Robotic)

·      Oversee leak-testing, dimensional control, traceability, and final inspection.

·      Manage aluminum welding quality, leak testing and inspection.

·      Oversee supplier qualification, audits and certifications.

·      Lead APQP/PPAP activities including FMEAs and capability studies.

·      Implement IATF – aligned quality systems and continuous improvement

·      Build, train and mentor the Quality Department.

·      Design, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

·      Ensure that all QMS processes are established, implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.

·      Coordinate internal and external audits and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

·      Lead management reviews, presenting performance results, indicators, and improvement opportunities.

·      Supervise proper document control within the QMS (procedures, policies, work instructions, and records).

·      Promote the process-based and risk-based approach, ensuring continual evaluation of its effectiveness.

·      Monitor and analyze quality and process performance indicators.

·      Ensure timely management of nonconformities and customer complaints, implementing effective corrective actions.

·      Coordinate training programs on quality, continuous improvement, and organizational culture.

·      Maintain ongoing communication with customers, auditors, and authorities regarding quality matters.

·      Foster a culture of continuous improvement at all organizational levels.

·      Plan, execute, and close industrial projects related to aluminum die casting and metal finishing.

·      Define project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation to meet customer and company goals.

·      Monitor technical progress, production stages, and quality checkpoints throughout the project.

·      Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to specifications.

·      Control project costs and prepare performance reports and KPI tracking.

·      Ensure compliance with documented procedures and records under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including audits and corrective actions.

·      Lead internal and customer follow-up meetings and coordinate preventive or improvement actions.

·      Identify and mitigate technical or supply chain risks within the project lifecycle

3.    Qualifications

· years in automotive/industrial quality management and Project Management.

·      Strong VDA 6.3 background; certification preferred.

·      Hands on experience in welding quality and aluminum metallurgy.

·      Excellent leadership and communication skills.

·      Experience with APQP, PPAP, SPC, and problem solving methodologies.

·      Excellent English written and oral.

·      Willingness to travel.

·      Knowledge of machining, anodizing, polishing, painting, metal coating, ecoating processes.

·      Experience interpreting technical drawings and tolerance specs.

·      Working experience of ISO 9001:2015, APQP, PPAP, FMEA and document control systems.

·      Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Management Engineering, or related field.

·      Proven experience implementing and maintaining 
ISO 9001:2015

systems (mandatory).

·      ISO 9001:2015 interpretation and application.

·      Document and record control.

·      Root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys).

·      Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

·      Customer-focused mindset.
