Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our team and provide strategic and operational support in the management of complex contracts for major offshore Oil & Gas projects, including FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) units and platform-based developments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end contract management, from the initial stages of procurement strategy definition, through negotiation, execution, administration, compliance, and closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead contract development, administration, and management activities for large-scale offshore Oil & Gas projects.
  • Support procurement and supply chain teams in tendering processes, contract formulation, and negotiation strategies.
  • Manage contract lifecycle including scope definition, commercial terms, price negotiations, change orders, and claims.
  • Act as the main interface between Project Controls, Legal, Construction Management, and General Contractors to ensure full contractual compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (legal, finance, tax, procurement, and operations) and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper contract governance, documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Monitor contract performance and proactively address risks, disputes, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Maintain and enhance contract management systems and tools.
  • Ensure contract close-out, extensions, and renewals are executed in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Provide guidance and training on contractual matters to internal teams.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of continuous experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong background in contract and commercial management.
  • Proven experience in offshore environments, including FPSO and platform projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Naval, Civil, Mechanical, or related disciplines).
  • Demonstrated experience in Contract Management, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions within major capital projects.
  • Solid knowledge of various contract delivery methodologies and risk allocation practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Master's degree or certification in Project Management, Contract Law, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience working in multicultural and international project environments.
  • Familiarity with contract management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
