. You will be responsible for executing activities related to revenue analysis and reporting, as well as economic evaluations, while supporting the Planning, Control and Reporting department.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyse and submit financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual actuals; Business Plan; 4-year Strategic Plan; and Annual Forecasts) to headquarters in a timely and appropriate manner, in accordance with IFRS and US accounting principles.
  • Monitor variances between budgets and actuals, ensuring consistency of accounting data with budgeted activities, and provide analysis to management for timely corrective actions.
  • Carry out economic evaluations in line with procedures to support decision-making.
  • Calculate and analyse equity production and revenues, variances and sensitivities.
  • Report to local authorities as required under production sharing agreement obligations.
  • Support the reporting of non-profit expenses to headquarters in compliance with relevant procedures.
  • Control and monitor job orders and contracts.
  • Perform all relevant SOX controls.
  • Support audits (SOX, partners, internal audit) with appropriate documentation and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures, laws and regulations.
  • Undertake any ad hoc duties required by management.

Skills And Experience Required

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
  • Two years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial management regulations and systems.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Related work experience is not required but will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP software is not required but will be considered an advantage.
