Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Mixteco Bajo speaker Medical Interpreter to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will facilitate clear and accurate communication between healthcare providers and Slovenian-speaking patients, ensuring that language barriers do not hinder quality care. Your expertise will help bridge cultural and linguistic gaps, promoting patient safety, understanding, and comfort throughout medical interactions. Responsibilities

  • Act as a fluent Mixteco Bajo-English interpreter during medical appointments, hospital visits, and patient consultations.
  • Accurately translate medical terminology, patient histories, and provider instructions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to clarify instructions, answer questions, and provide emotional support when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Mixteco Bajo and English, with exceptional verbal
  • 1 year experience interpreting
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations professionally.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $ $90.00 per hour
