Technical Revenue Accounting Manager

We are seeking a hybrid Technical Revenue Accounting Manager based in Mexico City to join our dynamic Revenue Accounting team. In this critical role, you will drive innovation by leveraging technology, implementing automation, and optimizing processes that shape how revenue accounting operates at Infoblox. You'll collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and ensure compliance in a fast-growing environment. Be a Contributor — What You'll Do 

• Partner with Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, and Commercial Finance (Deal Desk) on new product offerings and complex, non-routine transactions
• Lead revenue-related technical accounting analyses, including contract reviews and documentation of accounting conclusions under US GAAP
• Communicate accounting implications clearly to stakeholders and translate technical guidance into practical, business-ready recommendations
• Draft and maintain revenue and cost of revenue accounting policies 
• Lead assigned projects independently, demonstrating strong ownership and project management in a fast-paced environment
• Develop a deep understanding of company operations, contracts, and systems to proactively identify accounting risks and improvement opportunities 
• Support implementation of technical accounting conclusions, ensuring accurate and scalable execution within processes and systems
• Prepare ad hoc analyses to support business decisions and management reviews 
• Support month-end close activities, including review of revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations 
• Drive continuous improvement of revenue processes and related controls 
• Support external audit activities related to revenue recognition

Be Prepared — What You Bring 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred 
• 5 plus years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting, and/or audit; Big Four and industry experience preferred
• Strong technical expertise in US GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC IFRS 15 experience accepted) 
• Demonstrated ability to partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Legal, Sales, and other stakeholders to proactively identify accounting issues and research applicable US GAAP and Big Four guidance and document accounting conclusions
• Experience evaluating the accounting implications of new products and complex transactions, including preparing technical analyses and advising on implementation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical accounting matters to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Demonstrated initiative in process improvement, including interest in leveraging automation or AI tools within finance or operations
• Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and self‑directed, with strong ownership of multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience with revenue recognition systems and enterprise tools (e.g., revenue subledgers, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Tableau) is a plus
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing one or more team members in a technical accounting or related environment is a plus

One Year: Operate as a trusted strategic partner to the business, shaping revenue strategies for new products and complex transactions, advancing automation and scalability initiatives, and influencing cross functional alignment and change.
