Job Description
Position Summary:
The Product Owner will lead the Advanced Analytics team, driving the development and delivery of data-driven solutions that support strategic business objectives across underwriting, claims, pricing, and customer experience. This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and the analytics team, ensuring that advanced analytics initiatives deliver measurable value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Product Ownership:

  • Define and prioritize the analytics product backlog based on business value and strategic alignment.
  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of analytics products, from ideation to deployment and monitoring.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with business units (Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, etc.) to gather requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and business partners.

Analytics Strategy & Execution:

  • Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics (machine learning, AI, predictive modeling) to solve business problems.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of analytics models and tools.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, robust, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for analytics initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on product performance, iterating based on feedback and results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related roles, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics techniques (machine learning, AI, predictive modeling).
