Big Data Engineer – Airflow (Remote – Mexico)

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (5+ years) to design, build, and maintain ELT, orchestration, and integration pipelines in an AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, Snowflake, and DBT Cloud, along with solid Python and SQL development skills.

You'll be responsible for building scalable data workflows, ensuring data quality, and implementing monitoring solutions to support reliable analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Proficient in Python for scripting, automation, and REST API integrations.
  • Strong SQL and Snowflake expertise (performance tuning, data modeling).
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration and workflow monitoring.
  • Hands-on with DBT Cloud for modular and version-controlled data transformations.
  • Practical experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch).
  • Understanding of data quality, governance, and cloud-native troubleshooting.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 MXN Gross Monthly
